Tanika A. Chambers felt the hand of God upon her life at the age of sixteen and accepted
Jesus Christ as her Lord and Saviour at twenty-one. After crying out to God for a deeper
relationship with Him, her desire for the Word of God and evangelism increased. Then soon
after a fourteen day fast God revealed her calling; a missionary evangelist. From that day on,
Tanika’s steps have become strategically ordered by the Lord; bringing both men and women
into the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
As Tanika continued to declare the Lordship of Jesus Christ to her unbelieving friends, family
and co-workers she became a target to the enemy. In 2005, Tanika found herself in the lowest
and darkest place of her life. She lost her spiritual and physical strength after getting involved
in an unhealthy relationship that was not God’s will. Where she ended up and her journey
back to her God-ordained position and purpose, is the testimony she shares today in her book
Single, Ready & Waiting: Your Guide to Courtship.
Since the launch of her book in 2012, Tanika Chambers has affectionately become known
around the world for her book turned ministry, “Single Ready and Waiting.” With a heart to
inspire single women and men to make God-honouring choices in their single season, Tanika
cuts to the heart of the matter with her real talk, encouragement, inspirational messages and
humorous take on life, love and relationships. Tanika’s message reaches thousands of women
and men across the world through her Blog, Youtube and Facebook.
Invited by Pastors, Conference hosts and Group leaders to deliver a message on any given
topic/theme, or facilitate a singles seminar Tanika has been known to leave an audience
inspired, empowered and motivated to make positive changes in their lives. Featured on the
Marilyn Denis show, Canada’s number one daytime TV show as a top finalist in their Real
Women Search; Tanika has been named to be a “Woman of Influence” and a “Women of
Purpose” by Soulful Image Lifestyle magazine. She has also been featured on Grace TV and
the 700 Club encouraging singles and sharing her testimony.
Tanika is an ordained Elder, gifted with the living rhema word and a prophetic voice to
encourage God’s people.
