What Are You Attracting?

When you think of the words love life what comes to mind? A romantic relationship maybe? Most would think so too, but for a moment I want you to think about your love life by answering this question:

How was I loved?

If you desire to have a healthy love relationship with a significant other, friend or family member it’s important that we see clearly how we experienced love growing up.

Here are two ways we could have experienced love: conditionally or unconditionally. Either way, we were heavily influenced by it, and it could be the very way we show love to others today.

Let’s pause and reflect on that for a moment.  If who we are today is a reflection of the love we did or didn’t get how would we respond to the questions below:

Do I love to get?

Do I love until they do something I don’t like?

Or do I love because everyone deserves to be loved, no matter what?

Answering these questions has not only helped me to get a clearer understanding of how I was loved, but how I came up short in loving others.

During my one-on-one sessions with client’s who desire to get married, I encouraged them to take their self, love life seriously.

Whether you are single or married it’s important that we become the best expression of love because it can attract a loving spouse and loving people to us.

If you’re tired of attracting the ain’ts’ instead of the saint’s I would highly recommend that you check your self-love life.

And finally, how will you know when you’re TRULY READY for love?
A question I get asked from time to time…
My Answer: When you’re truly ready to put away the pointing of the finger and really see you; CLEARLY.

One of my favourite scriptures in the Bible comes from Romans 13:8 it reads: “Owe no many any thing, but to love one another; for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.”

God’s grace is indeed sufficient for us to love others the way we want to be loved, but I found out that we really can’t do this well if we’re filled with negative emotions. I know this too well because for years I had been weighed down by rejection and shame just to name a few until I broke free!

In my soon to be released course “Breaking Free From Negative Emotions” I help to guide women through 13 weeks of uncovering and getting a healthier perspective about the negative emotions to get to the root of issues so they can find their WHOLE NEW SELF! The Course is happening right now! Visit our “Breaking Free From Negative Emotions with Tanika Chambers Facebook Page” for more details.

And what about apologies? Sometimes love is not able to flow until we have apologized for the hurt we may have caused someone. My podcast interview with Andrew Blackwood blessed me and so many others. He teaches us how we can give and receive a “genuine apology.”

Friend, if there is anyone who wants us to get our love walk right it’s God.

Let’s make our Heavenly Father proud.

This is my beloved son/daughter in whom I am well pleased.

Until next time….remember God Has a Master Plan With Our Name On It!
